Supporting Ascension Ventures with investment in Eolas Medical

Our expert corporate solicitors advised Ascension Ventures on their investment in Eolas Medical Limited last year. This successful deal was recently shortlisted Private Equity/Venture Capital Deal of Year at the Northern Ireland Dealmakers Awards 2022. The £2 million investment round ensures Eolas Medical’s continued growth. The funding will be used to build a suite of apps that aid healthcare departments in storing and managing their data.   

Founded in 2019, Eolas Medical aims to organise the world's medical information to make healthcare simpler, safer and smarter. Their technology is now used in hospitals across seven countries and they’re planning to continue their expansion.  

Leading the investment deal for Ascension Ventures was Stephen Evans, senior corporate solicitor at Harper James. Stephen supported Ascension Ventures with expert advice during the funding round. Stephen helped to agree investment documents to ensure both parties were happy with the deal as well as articles of association to ensure all involved in the funding round were aware of their responsibilities.
