Andrew is an experienced employment solicitor and HR professional, qualified in 2013. He has held senior roles in private practice and in-house, including Head of HR at the University of Oxford and employment solicitor roles at Broadfield Law UK LLP and Deloitte, giving him a practical perspective grounded in first-hand experience of the pressures his clients face.
Andrew is known for delivering commercially focused, pragmatic and empathetic advice across the full employee lifecycle. His expertise includes recruitment, disciplinary and grievance matters, sickness absence, performance management, restructuring and redundancy, TUPE, restrictive covenants, contractual changes and settlement agreements.
He also has significant experience in international legal work, with a particular focus on inward investment and Business Immigration.
Outside of work, Andrew is a trustee of One-Eighty, a local charity supporting children and young people with mental health and behavioural challenges, helping them re-engage with education. At weekends, he can usually be found being frantically chased around the kitchen table by his young son and daughter.
