Asim is a corporate solicitor who supports businesses and their owners on a range of corporate transactions, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.
He qualified as a solicitor in September 2025 after completing his training contract at Higgs LLP. During his training, Asim worked with the corporate team on both buy-side and sell-side transactions, including deals valued at more than £10 million.
His work includes:

Asim focuses on understanding what clients are looking to achieve and supporting them through each stage of a transaction, helping to keep the process clear and moving forward.
His connection with Harper James began in 2022, when he worked with the firm as a legal assistant. He later returned as a qualified solicitor to continue developing his career within the Corporate team.
Asim studied Law at Coventry University, graduating with First Class Honours, before completing the LPC LLM at the University of Law in Birmingham with distinction.
Outside work, Asim is a keen sports enthusiast. He has played football and cricket from a young age and continues to follow both sports closely.
