Calum is Head of Digital and Content at Harper James, where he helps drive the firm’s acquisition marketing activity across website performance, SEO, paid search, content, email and digital campaigns.
His role focuses on helping businesses find the right legal support at the right time. Working closely with colleagues across marketing, business development and the wider commercial team, Calum is particularly interested in how businesses make buying decisions, how professional services firms can build trust online, and how high-quality digital experiences can help founders, directors and in-house teams make more confident decisions.
Before joining Harper James in 2019, Calum worked across a wide range of B2B and B2C sectors, marketing everything from consumer products to specialist manufacturing software. This breadth of experience has shaped his practical, commercially focused approach to marketing: understanding the audience, creating useful content and making it easier for the right clients to take the next step.
Outside work, Calum lives in the Lake District with his wife and two children. He enjoys keeping fit through running, cycling and weight training, and is usually happiest outdoors, planning the next family adventure or working on his self-build home project.
