In her role as a Solicitor in the contentious intellectual property team, Elizabeth has experience working across a wide range of sectors, advising her clients on brand protection, enforcement and exploitation of their intellectual property rights, including trade marks, copyright, passing off and design rights.
Elizabeth has considerable experience in dealing with claims of trade mark infringement, passing off and copyright infringement, bringing action on behalf of her clients and defending those who have had allegations made against them. This experience includes litigating cases in the High Court and IPEC as well as successfully negotiating settlement agreements to bring matters to a commercial resolution where possible.
I enjoy working on both sides of intellectual property disputes, enforcing the genuine rights of businesses and defending those who have had allegations made against them. My background studying psychology gives me insight to the motivations and strategy of different businesses and I enjoy working with clients to reach commercial solutions.
Elizabeth studied Psychology at the University of Birmingham before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and LPC at the University of Law. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and skiing.
