Liam is a Senior Employee Share Schemes Solicitor at Harper James. He has over 20 years’ experience from consulting, accounting and law firms. After graduating from Sheffield University, Liam joined Nabarro Nathanson in London (now CMS) and has held senior roles at organisations such as Mercer, Mazars and The RM2 Partnership.
A specialist in the design and implementation of employee share schemes, Liam advises on a range of schemes including EMI/CSOP share options, growth shares, long-term incentive plans, all-employee SIP/SAYE plans and phantom share schemes. His primary focus is collaborating with start-ups and growing businesses, offering tailored, practical advice to meet each client's unique needs.
Liam's expertise encompasses the operation of share plans, including communicating plans to participants, new awards, vesting events and guiding companies through the sales process.
In his spare time, Liam enjoys playing tennis, visiting art galleries and city breaks.
