Richard is a senior solicitor in the business disputes team. Before joining Harper James, he was a former partner and held senior leadership roles at several leading national law firms.
He has advised household name corporate businesses, major UK financial institutions and countless SMEs giving him a broad understanding of the challenges faced at every stage of the business lifecycle.
Richard specialises in complex, high value litigation supporting clients with a broad range of contentious matters including:

Where he advises businesses on their disputes helping them to manage risks and reach practical cost-effective outcomes through negotiation, litigation, or ADR. He works closely with in house legal teams and/or senior stakeholders to shape strategy, manage sensitive issues and deliver clear commercially focused advice.
Richard has extensive experience of managing large scale dispute portfolios, remediation schemes and outsourcing projects.
