Roxane is a senior solicitor in the Commercial Property team with 10 years of post-qualification experience. She advises retailers on commercial real estate matters, focusing on landlord and tenant work such as acquisitions, surrenders and re-grants, and lease re-gears. She also provides strategic support at the negotiation stage of transactions.
Roxane is experienced in the transactional aspects of 1954 Act lease renewal proceedings and has worked with a wide range of clients, including retail parks, shopping centres, supermarkets, train stations and high streets.
Her wider experience includes real estate finance and advising on the property aspects of corporate transactions.
Recent examples of how Roxane has supported clients include:
- Acting for the Body Shop and other retailers on their property portfolio management and working closely with property litigation advisors;
- Advising a national retailer chain of tea and coffee on a large refinance of its top-performing stores; and
- Advising on the site acquisitions, disposals and management of the discount supermarket chain, Aldi.
Outside of work, Roxane lives in Southampton with her children (for whom she is social secretary and chauffeur) and husband. She enjoys walks in the New Forest and travelling with her family.
