Wajiha Haris

Wajiha is a corporate lawyer who supports founders and growing businesses with the legal structures and transactions that help them develop and scale.

She qualified as a solicitor in 2022 and advises across a range of corporate matters, with a strong focus on supporting businesses at an early stage of their growth journey.

Her work includes:

• early-stage investment and fundraising
• founder and shareholder arrangements
• corporate structuring
• supporting businesses through investment transactions
• general corporate matters arising as businesses grow

Wajiha enjoys working closely with founders at the early stages in their businesses, when decisions around investment, ownership and structure can have a lasting impact. She helps clients put the right foundations in place so they are well positioned for future growth and investment.

She joined Harper James in 2016 and has developed her career with the firm, progressing from an administrative role through legal assistant and trainee positions before qualifying into the Corporate team. This has given her broad exposure to the firm and its clients, as well as a strong understanding of the challenges growing businesses face.

Before joining Harper James, Wajiha completed her law degree with the University of London and later completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Sheffield.
