Clare is a paralegal in Harper James’ disputes team and has extensive experience in the legal sector. Before joining Harper James in January 2025, she spent over 24 years with Thompsons LLP, progressing from Legal Secretary to Paralegal within the firm's clinical negligence team. She is now part of the Dispute Resolution team, specialising in debt recovery and commercial disputes.
Clare has extensive experience supporting solicitors on complex and high-profile litigation matters while delivering exceptional client care. She is known for her strong organisational skills, attention to detail and proactive approach to case management. Clare works closely with clients, solicitors, the courts and counsel to help matters progress efficiently, ensuring clients receive clear, responsive communication throughout their case.
Clare supports a broad range of debt recovery matters, helping clients achieve positive outcomes through effective organisation, communication and problem-solving. Most recently, she played a key role in a large-scale debt recovery project, assisting with case progression, client communications and the management of key deadlines, contributing to a successful outcome for the client.
