Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate
Siva joined Harper James in April 2025 as a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate, working in partnership with Aston University. She is leading a strategic project that aims to integrate generative AI into the delivery of legal services as part of Harper James' commitment to modernising and scaling our operations for the benefit of our clients.
Specialising in machine learning, natural language processing and predictive analytics, Siva is helping to develop our Intelligent Legal Service Platform (ILSP). Her work focuses on bringing the latest in AI research – including models like GPT-3 – into practical, client-focused solutions such as automated reporting, smart chatbots and semantic data tools.
With a background bridging academic research and real-world innovation, Siva’s role ensures we stay at the forefront of technology, making legal support faster, smarter, and even more accessible to ambitious businesses.
Away from her work, Siva has a keen interest in AI ethics, particularly in promoting the responsible and sustainable use of emerging technologies. She also enjoys photography – capturing everything from urban skylines to quiet, everyday moments – and uses the art of crochet, particularly crafting amigurumi, as a creative way to unwind.
