Last week, we joined over 4,000 founders, entrepreneurs and people from the ecosystem that supports them, to learn, share and celebrate all things entrepreneurial.
Now in its third year, Ideas Fest is described as the Glastonbury for businesses – and having sponsored the festival this year, we can confirm that it’s not like any other business networking event you’ll go to!
Think dancing robots, pitching competitions, karaoke, mind hacks, ice baths, marketing masterclasses, AI insights and more!
One of the stand-out features of Ideas Fest is the diverse range of people you meet – from different backgrounds, at different stages and working on wildly different products and services. But what unites everyone is their energy, positivity and openness to connecting. It makes Ideas Fest one of the most memorable and rewarding business events we’ve been to. Even the rain, which was heavy at times, couldn’t dampen that spirit.
Speaking up and listening out
Our founder and CEO, Toby Harper, joined an unfiltered conversation on ‘Raising, Scaling and Staying Sane: A Founder’s Guide to the Long Haul’, with co-panellists Louise Hill (GoHenry), Karen Barrett (Unbiased), Nick Pritchard (Qudios) and Tessa Clarke (Olio), hosted by Professor Dylan Jones-Evans.

We then welcomed seasoned entrepreneurs Sam White (Stella Insurance), Roei Samuel (Connectd) and Darren Briggs (Ascona Group) to the Investor Insights stage for a panel on being exit-ready from day one. Hosted by Adam Kudryl, our Director of Legal Strategy & Operations, the session explored the realities of going through investment and exit, with our speakers talking candidly about what they wished they’d known, lessons they’d learned, and advice for those in the audience on dealing with investment and exit situations.

We also joined nominees for the UK Startup Awards 2025 Final, where Adam presented the Fintech Start-Up Award to Stephen McNelly of FeetrAI. Adam also joined the judging panel for the Airwallex pitch competition, where founders competed for £10,000 in funding. Each of the pitches was highly polished and competitive, but the prize ultimately went to Rebecca Lane of The Floral Hire, whose compelling pitch impressed the judges.

Away from the stages, our tent was a hub of activity – from lively conversations and fun games to complimentary wine courtesy of our client, When in Rome. We also ran a competition, giving one lucky founder £3,000+ worth of legal support and rewards to help power their growth journey.

Reflecting on the event, Adam says: ‘I can honestly say I haven’t been to a business event like it – the energy, openness and willingness to share ideas made it an incredible experience. Everyone I spoke to was there to connect, to learn and to help each other grow.’
As a firm built to support ambitious, growth-focused businesses, we’re excited to have played our part in Ideas Fest and are already looking forward to 2026 – bring it on! You can sign up for the waiting list to be the first to hear about tickets here.
