We are delighted to announce the appointment of two new solicitors amid our expansion plans for 2020.
Theresa Chong and Michelle Hayward have joined the team at Harper James Solicitors.
Theresa trained at Martineau Johnson in Birmingham and moved to Shoosmiths where she worked for nine years before joining property specialists, Davitt Jones Bould, as a consultant and later as a partner.
She specialises in commercial property transactions of all varieties. She has particular experience in dealing with international retailers seeking new property on the high-street, in shopping centres or at out-of-two retail parks.
Michelle trained and qualified at Evershed, Wells and Hind which became part of Eversheds. She was also a partner in a regional firm and has spent time in-house at a Higher Education business dealing with its research and innovation and knowledge exchange contracts.
She will continue to specialise in commercial contracts including matters relating to mergers and acquisitions.
The appointments mean Harper James’ now boast more than 35 senior solicitors.
Our ability to secure experienced and high-quality lawyers is driven by our commitment to flexible working, allowing them to work remotely from home or at locations which suit them.
The model allows us to keep overheads low and, in the space of five years, has allowed the company to grow rapidly.
We are now working with more than 1,000 clients, a large number of which are signed up to our Enterprise subscription model where businesses pay a fixed monthly cost in exchange for inclusive support and access to additional support at hourly rates.
