Manufacturer subscribes to our Enable service following ‘explosion of sales’.
Innovative Isle of Wight-based bespoke commercial furniture manufacturer The Meeting Pod Company has appointed us to carry out its legal services following a period of rapid growth and expansion for the firm.
Launched in 2016 by entrepreneur Mike Dalloz, The Meeting Pod Company offers a range of indoor and outdoor pods for the business market. Offering an alternative to the traditional meeting room, in the form of dynamic modular design with acoustic foam interiors, whilst occupying a footprint which is typically 40% less than the equivalent partitioned office space. The pods are UK manufactured from composite materials from a facility on the Isle of Wight.
CEO, Mike Dalloz, said: “The idea for The Meeting Pod Company came about in 2015 when I was struggling to find suitable private meeting space furniture for my open plan offices, there was just nothing available on the market.
'Our meeting pods are feeding a change in the way office environments work. Employers are recognising the need to provide engaging open plan spaces combined with funky breakout and agile working areas to both attract and retain the best people and drive creativity and productivity through a more collaborative way of working.'
The business has now subscribed to our monthly legal subscription service, Enable, which allows SMEs to easily access ongoing legal support from experienced solicitors without incurring the high costs normally associated with using a law firm.
Mike added:
'It was the explosion in sales that prompted us to explore further investment to expand our manufacturing facilities and take the business internationally and at this point we approached Harper James.'
