Harper James named Growing Business of the Year

In 2024, we had the privilege of both supporting and being recognised at some of the UK’s most prestigious events celebrating growth-oriented businesses, as well as the founders and entrepreneurs that drive them forward.

As a scale-up ourselves, we share their ambitions for growth and deeply understand the challenges they face along the way. Our top priority is, and will always be, to play a meaningful role in enabling our clients’ success, and we take great pride in celebrating and sharing their stories.

When we receive an accolade, we see this as a measure of the value clients place in the affordable, quality legal services we provide and the outstanding efforts of our people. With this in mind, we’re thrilled to share that we have been named Growing Business of the Year at the Growing Business Awards 2024 in the £2.5m-£10m category.

This award is based on our significant year-on-year growth in the 2022-23 financial year, with a 41.9% revenue uplift to £9.8m. In addition, in our financial year ending September 2024, we saw a further 25% growth in revenue to £12.2m.

We were also recognised for the innovative way in which we provide quality legal services to a wide range of entrepreneurial businesses through our unique service plans and our team of remote-working solicitors, the majority of whom bring experience from working in top 100 law firms or in-house at national and even multi-national businesses.

Our growth has been entirely organic, and our success enables us to reinvest in our people, skills and technology to continue to provide exceptional legal expertise to growth-oriented businesses and a place to work that’s truly flexible and progressive.

This award culminates a year of recognition for us at Harper James, following being named Best SME at the WM People Awards in February 2024, and in the UK Fast 50 Index as one of the top 20 Fastest Growing Professional Services Firms in the UK Fast Growth Index 2024.
