Douglas is Head of Digital Marketing and Data at Harper James. He is responsible for leading our digital marketing strategy, helping to deliver great results and drive business growth. As part of our marketing team, he oversees the planning, implementation, and optimisation of our digital campaigns to drive website traffic, leads and conversions. Additionally, he also provides strategic guidance across our CRM, business development and client services teams.
Prior to joining Harper James, Douglas spent over 10 years as a digital marketer working agency-side exclusively with law firms across the UK & beyond. During this time, he developed niche expertise in the legal sector and an in-depth understanding of the target audiences that law firms aim to reach. His specialist background in organic and paid search helps him to create data led, conversion driven, user-centric campaigns. Recently, Douglas has been working on leveraging new opportunities through generative AI technologies.
Based in Glasgow, Douglas enjoys spending his free time outdoors with his family, often on bikes or back in the kitchen making something from his ever growing collection of cookbooks.
