Emily Merryweather
Client Support Coordinator
As Client Support Coordinator, Emily helps enhance the firm’s client service delivery and supports the smooth running of day-to-day client operations. She acts as a key point of contact within the Client Operations team, helping to connect solicitors, account managers and business services teams so that clients receive a consistent, efficient and high-quality experience.
Before joining the firm, Emily spent almost four years at global immigration law firm Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, where she specialised in U.S. immigration as a Senior Coordinator. Her role involved drafting legal forms, gathering evidence and preparing documents to support individuals starting new lives, careers and adventures in the United States. Prior to this, she worked for the Home Office across UKCA, UKVI and Asylum, gaining valuable insight into different areas of immigration and public service.
Emily studied History and Sociology at the University of Sheffield before completing a master’s degree in Cultural Heritage Management at the University of York.
Outside of work, Emily is a huge Sheffield Wednesday fan and has played football for most of her life. She enjoys travelling, walking in the Peaks and the Lakes, reading, painting, and will never say no to brunch when the opportunity arises.
