Helen Burgess
Senior Compliance Manager
As Senior Compliance Manager, Helen is responsible for assisting with new client and matter onboarding, AML risk assessments for new clients, auditing new client onboarding processes and responding to compliance enquiries from solicitors and business support colleagues.
Since 2011, Helen has been managing the compliance function of a Bristol-based solicitors’ firm and prior to that she prosecuted for the Crown Prosecution Service. Helen holds a strong belief in the importance of preventing the facilitation of serious and organised crime and maintaining the integrity of both the legal profession and the reputation of the firm.
In her spare time, Helen loves being outside and enjoys rowing in a team of eight for the City of Bristol Rowing Club, walking and swimming at the local Lido or in the sea.
