Get in touch

Holly is a senior business dispute solicitor with over 15 years’ experience managing complex litigation and dispute resolution for a broad range of clients. Formerly a partner and head of dispute resolution at a prominent West End law firm in London, she brings significant expertise in both domestic and international matters, advising private individuals and corporate clients alike.

Her practice spans a wide variety of commercial and civil disputes, including those involving directors and shareholders, partnerships, commercial loans, debt recovery, breach of contract, professional negligence, fraud, financial services, insolvency, and property-related claims.

Holly is known for her clear, commercially grounded advice and her strategic approach to contentious matters. She guides clients through litigation or alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation, always balancing legal strategy with business needs.

My approach to dispute resolution is rooted in a pragmatic understanding of the commercial realities my clients face. Every client’s situation is unique, and I strive to offer tailored solutions that align with their business objectives. I believe in being straightforward with clients, ensuring they fully understand their options and the potential risks involved. Whether it’s navigating a complex commercial dispute or advising on an early resolution strategy, my goal is to support clients through the process with clarity and confidence.

Some key cases include:

  • Representing an international businessman in cross-jurisdictional litigation involving ~£20 million in judgment debts enforced by a UAE bank. The matter involved a worldwide freezing order, enforcement under personal guarantees, beneficial ownership claims, and section 423 Insolvency Act 1986 relief. The case is now the leading authority on section 423.
  • Acting for defendants accused of fraud exceeding USD 100 million in a High Court claim brought by Russian state-owned Aeroflot. The claim was discontinued on the eve of trial, with indemnity costs awarded to the defendants.
  • Representing a prominent businessman in High Court proceedings involving breach of contract and fraudulent misrepresentation claims relating to funding arrangements for a game farm and resort in South Africa.
  • Acting for a property development company in a public nuisance claim against Westminster City Council concerning tree root subsidence damage to a high-value central London property.
  • Successfully defending a payroll company in a multi-million-dollar High Court claim brought by a US-based investment firm.

Outside of work, Holly enjoys spending time with her family and two young children, Buzz and Bowie. She also has a passion for Italian language and culture, Irish dancing, and choral singing.
