Kate Wright

Kate brings a wealth of corporate and commercial experience to clients at all stages of growth - from fast-moving start-ups to global enterprises and the investors who back them. 

She trained with Clyde & Co in London and worked with CMS in Hong Kong, and has also spent time in-house with a leading financial services group. She has advised on mergers and acquisitions, funding rounds, cross-border governance and regulatory matters across Europe – experience that gives her a strong commercial perspective and a pragmatic, business-first approach. 

At Harper James, Kate focuses on making sure clients get maximum value from our service. That might mean working closely with our Client Services team to ensure the right expertise is being delivered at the right time, or bringing her knowledge and experience to high-impact projects. 

Away from the office, Kate enjoys spending time with family and friends, keeping active through sport, travelling and soaking up London’s culture. She’s also an avid reader with a keen interest in the world of fragrance. Passionate about giving back, Kate volunteers through Inspiring the Future, speaking to school students about career paths in law, and supports local initiatives focused on helping disadvantaged communities.
