Pragya Chadha

Solicitor - Commercial

Pragya is a solicitor in our Commercial team, advising clients on a broad range of commercial and technology focused legal matters. She helps businesses put in place practical contracts and commercial arrangements that support growth, manage risk and enable innovation. Her work includes commercial contracts, SaaS and technology agreements, artificial intelligence and intellectual property-related matters.

Pragya qualified as a solicitor in July 2026 after completing her training contract at Harper James, gaining experience in the Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property and Corporate teams. She also brings international legal experience from her time working at law firms in Dubai, where she supported clients on commercial and litigation matters.

Pragya works closely with ambitious and fast-growing businesses, particularly in the technology sector. She helps clients navigate legal issues in a way that is clear, practical and commercially focused, and supports them as they scale and develop their contractual frameworks.

Work highlights include:

  • Supporting a resource management software provider with its customer contracting framework, including terms of use, a master services agreement, service level agreement and acceptable use policy.
  • Advising a global employee benefits platform on commercial agreements with multinational counterparties, identifying contractual risks and supporting negotiations.
  • Assisting technology businesses with the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts, including framework agreements and consultancy agreements.
  • Supporting growing businesses with the preparation and negotiation of non-disclosure agreements tailored to different commercial relationships, including customers, suppliers and investors.

Pragya enjoys travelling and gaming and has visited more than 25 countries so far. She also serves as Deputy Vice Chair of the Birmingham Junior Lawyers Division, supporting the local junior lawyer community and promoting professional development opportunities.

"Having worked with growing businesses throughout my training and qualification, I understand the importance of delivering advice that is practical, commercial and easy to apply in the real world."
