Selina Watson

Selina joined Harper James in January 2024 as a Client Services Manager. She works closely with clients to understand their individual requirements, helping ensure that they receive first-class, tailored legal advice to facilitate the growth of their businesses.  

Selina trained and qualified with Boyes Turner LLP, where she spent 13 years in the dispute resolution team. She worked as a solicitor and professional support lawyer, advising on a variety of commercial litigation matters in her capacity as a solicitor, whilst also acting as a trusted advisor to the team in her role as PSL. Selina is used to engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to achieve the best outcome, and she brings that experience to her role in the Client Services team. 

Outside of the legal world, Selina volunteers as a mentor to vulnerable children struggling with mainstream school. She is very passionate about giving young people a voice and helping them to reach their true potential.  

When she is not working, Selina loves nothing more than spending quality time with her family. She is mum to two dance-loving daughters and a football-mad son, and is kept on her toes catering to them. There is rarely a dull (or chilled!) moment but when time permits, Selina enjoys going out for dinner, cooking and most sports (watching!).
