Content Marketing & Campaigns Manager

Apply now

We’re looking for a hands-on Content Marketing & Campaigns Manager to help turn Harper James’ expertise, client insight and growth priorities into content-led campaigns that build awareness, create demand and support client engagement.

The businesses we work with are raising investment, acquiring companies, expanding internationally, hiring teams, protecting valuable IP, launching products and preparing for exit. We help them navigate those moments, and we’re looking for a commercially minded content marketer who can tell that story in a clear, useful and compelling way.

This is an opportunity to play a central role in how a fast-growing, technology-enabled law firm engages the businesses it wants to reach, builds trust in the market and creates content with measurable commercial impact.

The role

You’ll be a key content engine behind Harper James’ campaign programme – planning, creating and delivering content across our priority themes, practice areas and client growth audiences. Working closely with the Head of Marketing Communications and Senior Marketing Manager – Client Growth, you’ll help turn strategic priorities into practical campaign plans and high-quality content across articles, guides, newsletters, LinkedIn, email marketing, webinars, video, client stories and proof-point assets.

This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who enjoys both the craft of content and the discipline of campaign execution. You’ll shape content around our ICPs, their needs, triggers and buying moments, ensuring campaign activity is commercially focused as well as well-written.

That could mean developing an investment readiness campaign, producing a webinar with senior lawyers, interviewing a founder about an acquisition, creating LinkedIn content from a client story, developing a guide for scaling businesses, or turning expert commentary into campaign assets that support PR, demand generation and client growth.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering content-led marketing campaigns from brief through to execution
  • Creating and editing content across multiple formats, including articles, guides, LinkedIn posts, landing pages, email nurture and proof-point assets
  • Producing webinars as part of the wider campaign programme, including shaping topics, agendas, speaker briefs, promotional copy, supporting assets and follow-up content
  • Working closely with the Head of Marketing Communications on brand, positioning, profile-raising and reputation-building priorities
  • Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager – Client Growth to ensure campaigns support client engagement, account activation and new business generation
  • Turning legal expertise and subject matter input into clear, useful and commercially relevant content
  • Generating client story, case study and proof-point content
  • Collaborating with digital, PR, client growth, account management, business development and legal teams to maximise campaign impact
  • Using AI and modern marketing tools responsibly to improve efficiency and scale while maintaining quality, house style and editorial judgement
  • Briefing and managing suppliers where used
  • Tracking campaign delivery and performance to support continuous improvement

You'll likely enjoy this role if you

  • Love turning ideas, insight and expertise into useful content
  • Enjoy building campaigns from initial theme through to delivery
  • Are a strong writer and editor who can adapt tone, structure and format for different audiences and channels
  • Understand how content supports brand awareness, demand generation, client growth, reputation and trust
  • Are comfortable working with technical experts and senior leaders, helping them to communicate clearly
  • Are commercially astute and interested in how content influences engagement, lead generation and pipeline
  • Are proactive, organised and able to keep multiple projects moving
  • Use AI tools to improve how you work, without losing critical judgement or quality control

Skills and experience

We’re open to candidates from a range of sectors, including technology, SaaS, fintech, professional services and legal. Experience in legal marketing is helpful but not essential.

We’re particularly interested in people with experience in:

  • B2B content marketing with clear commercial impact for defined audiences
  • Creating content that supports demand generation, client engagement, lead generation or pipeline influence
  • Campaign planning and delivery
  • Copywriting, editing and editorial planning
  • Thought leadership and long-form content
  • Webinar planning, production and promotion
  • LinkedIn and executive profile content
  • Email nurture campaigns and marketing automation
  • Client stories, case studies or proof-point content
  • AI-assisted content creation and workflow optimisation
  • Video content planning, scripting, production or repurposing
  • Working with freelance designers, editors and content creators to bring campaigns to life
