Next in the spotlight is our head of client services, Kate Wright. Kate enjoys spending time with my family and friends, playing tennis and making the most of Wimbledon's culture.

Prior to working in our client services team, Kate worked as a solicitor at Harper James and regularly advised business owners on both corporate and commercial legal matters. She has experience gained in international law firms and in-house, in advising both start-ups and global entities as well as investment vehicles and high net worth individuals.

What excites you most about your work?

It's mainly the client aspects. Our clients are such a mixture of companies at different stages of growth but all with a very interesting plan in mind.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Go with it!


Work with like-minded individuals and be free from the bureaucracy of traditional law firms

We have ambitious plans to triple the size of our business in the next three years and are recruiting 60+ lawyers into all our areas of practice, including corporate, commercial, data protection, employee incentives, financial services, commercial property, employment, intellectual property and dispute resolution.

Kate Wright rejoined Harper James in 2020 and regularly advises business owners on both corporate and commercial legal matters. Her time is now principally spent supporting Harper James clients get the most of our services. She helps them identify the right type of legal advice they need to run and grow their business while ensuring the support from our solicitors exceeds their expectations.
