Celebrating success: The Foundervine Future Awards and Future 40

We are honoured to have continued our support for Foundervine at the 2024 Future Awards, which celebrate and honour the achievements of extraordinary leaders, recognising their contributions to the entrepreneurial landscape.

As sponsors of the Consumer Brand of the Year category, Troy Broughton, Chief Sales Officer, had the honour of presenting the award to Lauren O'Donnell, founder of Oatsu.

Lauren’s inspiring journey includes recognising an opportunity to create an alternative healthy breakfast on the go, creating overnight oats in her kitchen, successful crowdfunding and securing nationwide distribution through Holland & Barrett.

Lauren said of her win:

I'm absolutely thrilled with this award. It reinforces our mission to make healthy, convenient breakfasts accessible to all.

After overcoming significant manufacturing challenges this year, we're proud to have achieved an industry-leading shelf life for our overnight oats using only natural ingredients. In 2025, we will launch of our overnight oats with Ocado, and our 'just add milk' mixes online. 

It’s especially meaningful to be recognised by the Foundervine community, who have supported Oatsu throughout its journey, and to see so many inspiring female founders celebrated at the awards!

Lauren’s story is just one of the many that were celebrated on the night, including the other outstanding finalists in the Consumer Brand of the Year category: Just Like Me Books, MIXD Reality, Flake Bake, JulieMay Lingerie and The Vegan Patty Lady.

A highlight of the evening was the unveiling of the inaugural Future 40 – 2024’s cohort of winners and nominees who are not only building businesses but creating opportunities and inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs from underrepresented backgrounds.

We were also very happy to see our client, Ascension Ventures, recognised as a finalist in the Good Investor of the Year category, further highlighting the depth of talent within the Foundervine community. Troy said:
