Sam is a senior solicitor in Harper James’ commercial property team with more than 20 years’ experience helping businesses manage, acquire, dispose of and grow their property interests.
She qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and has worked with a wide range of clients, from SMEs to major corporate occupiers. Her experience covers both individual property transactions and the management of large property portfolios.

Sam has worked across a broad range of sectors, including utilities, retail, investment, automotive and banking.
She spent a significant part of her career in the award-winning Corporate Occupiers team at Eversheds, now Eversheds Sutherland, before spending five years working on a consultant basis at Davitt Jones Bould.
That experience has given Sam a strong understanding of the property issues businesses face as they grow, expand into new premises or manage larger estates.
Her approach is practical, approachable and clear. Sam understands that commercial property transactions can involve unfamiliar terminology and complex documentation, so she takes time to explain the process in straightforward language and make sure clients understand what matters at each stage.
Sam also enjoys building long-term relationships with clients and supporting businesses as their property requirements develop over time, from securing their first premises through to managing expansion and wider portfolios.

Away from the office, Sam spends much of her time with her three boys and walking the family’s mini Dachshund. She also enjoys reality TV as a way to switch off.
