Harper James has been shortlisted for the Excellence in Client Service award at this year’s Law Society Excellence Awards. Known as the only legal awards both for the profession and by the profession, the prestigious annual awards celebrate the best in the industry, highlighting firms who have demonstrated outstanding success and hard work.
Thanks to our innovative and flexible subscription plans, clients can access specialist solicitors for prices that are significantly reduced compared to traditional law firms. Our Enterprise plan provides genuinely affordable legal advice for startups, often guiding them along their journey through seed, funding and growth stages all the way to exit. The plan offers clients transparency and certainty, aiding our ability to foster close and long-lasting relationships.
Our client service also includes a wealth of free resources, including webinars and an online advice centre, and the option to promote their business through our newsletter. A strong emphasis on client feedback is present throughout the firm. Our regular customer feedback surveys – clients can opt for anonymity – provide us with key market information. Clients rate highly the quality and continuity of our legal team, our specialist sector knowledge and the monthly payment option.
Toby Harper, CEO and founder of Harper James, responded to the news by saying: “We are delighted to have been recognised by The Law Society for our excellence in client services. Our priority is always to meet and anticipate client needs in all interactions, and our dedicated client services team help us to achieve this. The experience of our lawyers, who all have at least 10+ years PQE, also enables us to build strong relationships with our broad range of clients.
“This is the highest accolade for law firms in England and Wales and we couldn’t be prouder of the hard work we’ve put in to achieve this shortlisting.”
Law Society president Simon Davis said: "There are more than 140,000 solicitors in England and Wales - to be shortlisted for an Excellence Award is to be recognised as among the very best of the profession.
"The firms and solicitors shortlisted should be commended for going above and beyond to support their clients, often navigating tricky and sometimes contentious areas of the law.
"With the justice system so under strain, we should take this opportunity to celebrate the incredible work solicitors do day-in and day-out - and to recognise the immense contribution they make to our society."
Winners will be announced at the Law Society's Excellence Awards ceremony in London on 23 October.
