Jill Bainbridge

Jill is the Intellectual Property Partner at Harper James and has specialised in intellectual property protection, dispute resolution, brand and reputation management for over 20 years, having qualified as a solicitor in 1994. Prior to joining Harper James she was a Partner with Blake Morgan who she joined in 1999.

Jill has a wealth of experience in advising on IP strategy and IP dispute resolution both nationally and internationally in relation to the full spectrum of rights including:

I have over 20 years experience in acting for a wide range of clients from individuals to multi-national corporates, and handling matters involving various jurisdictions. This exposure means that I am adaptable in my approach and aim to find pragmatic solutions for clients.

Her sector experience includes leisure and retail, creative industries, manufacturing, telecommunications and technology, charities and education.

Jill is a graduate of Nottingham Trent University and has an LLM in Advanced Litigation and Diploma in Legal Practice Management.

She regularly speaks at international conferences and delivers in-house training on a variety of IP and reputation management topics.

Away from work Jill enjoys travel, yoga, gardening and is a keen football and lacrosse fan.
