Parmjit Gill

Parmjit Gill is a Partner and the Head of Commercial Property at Harper James. Pam qualified in 2004 and has over 20 years’ experience within private practice and industry. Pam is an expert in landlord and tenant law and has considerable experience in a wide range of commercial property work from portfolio management through to investment and development work. 

Pam has served as General Counsel and Head of Legal (UK & Europe) in two property development companies for 5 years. Pam was part of the senior leadership team, working closely with the CEO’s and has a profound understanding of the commercial challenges and pressures inherent in the various stages of the operation of a business, development, investment, and real estate finance. 

Pam is unique in her experience and has first-hand experience of what it is like to be a client and understands the importance of working alongside trusted legal advisors. 

My experience in private practice gives me a unique perspective. I’ve been the client in the past, so I have first-hand experience of what the experience is like. I have a much greater understanding of what the clients expectations are.

Whilst working at a global law firm Pam was leading a national real estate finance team. During her time there she provided legal support to Barclays, Lloyds, HSBC, Cynergy Bank deals ranging between £3m - £300m. 

Pam has worked on many shopping centre leases for institutional landlords such as Hammerson, Land Securities and Lendlease. Pam has acted for lettings at Bullring in Birmingham, Touchwood in Solihull and Cabot Circus in Bristol. Pam also advised Birmingham International Airport and HS2 on strategic property requirements.  

Outside of work, Pam is an active member of the Women in Property, an organisation that creates opportunities and encourages diversity within the property and construction industry.
